Shopping Policies

Verkoso is committed to providing you with a secure and easy shopping experience online. The policies below outline the principles we follow when processing your orders. Please review them carefully to make sure you understand them and agree with them. By providing us with your information and placing orders, you agree to the terms below. Sales Policies

Accuracy of Information and Product Availability

While we strive to update information on our website as quickly as possible, sometimes a product may become unavailable without you being notified of this immediately. In this case our representative will contact you by email or phone that you provided to notify you personally and help you find a replacement item.

Infrequently, data may be inaccurately displayed on our website. We make every attempt to avoid errors and correct them as soon as possible, however if you place an order and one or more items in it contain errors in description or pricing, we reserve the right to not honour incorrect description and pricing and notify you of this by email or phone. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Diamond Cut Grades

While the quality of a diamond's cut is very important to its appearance, it also is very subjective. A number of leading gem grading labs do not include cut grade in their certificates, or have only started to do so recently. The cut grades published for our diamonds are estimated, and may be slightly different than new official grading reports would provide. The perceived quality of the diamond cut is highly dependant on personal taste and preference, but you should expect that a diamond with a higher estimated cut grade would have better light return, fire and scintillation than that with a lower cut grade.

Remember that there is never a reason to worry when buying from Verkoso: if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, simply return it within 30 days.

Billing and Payment Methods

You can pay for your purchases using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard), wire transfer or Paypal. Paying using wire transfer entitles you to a 2% discount from the total price, which will be shown during checkout. Please note that there are certain limitations on the total amount of purchases you can make through Paypal without registering and verifying a Paypal account. Any additional information you enter to verify your Paypal account is not shared by Paypal with Verkoso. The only information we receive from Paypal is your name, shipping address and phone number. If you have any questions about the steps involved in a bank wire, contact your bank or contact Verkoso customer service at .

All prices listed on the website are in US dollars. It is possible to pay using Canadian dollars; contact us for exact conversion rates immediately before completing your payment.

If you pay using wire transfer, your order will be on hold until the funds are received and cleared in our bank account. This usually takes no longer than two business days. Also note that the sending and receiving banks may charge small extra fees for wire transfers. You are responsible for paying any such fees.

Order Processing

Order processing starts within one business day from placement of an order. It may take up to 5 business days, usually less. This includes payment and address verification. To make sure there are no delays, please respond to any inquires for additional information that we may request. We reserve the right to cancel an order if we feel we cannot guarantee safe delivery based on the information you provide. Make sure to include a phone number that is registered with your financial institution. This helps us prevent fraudulent transactions and speeds up verification process.

Gift Wrapping

All orders come in a beautiful pouch and a box, suitable for gift giving. At your request we can omit the price of the order on the invoice included with the shipment to a Canadian address. We are required by law to note the cost of all shipments with an international destination.

Sales Tax

Canadian Customers

We are required to collect sales tax on all orders shipped to a Canadian address. Residents of Ontario must pay GST of 6% and PST of 8%; residents of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, Québec and Yukon pay GST of 6%; residents of Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick pay HST of 14%. The amount of taxes you will need to pay will be shown during checkout.

International Customers

We do not collect taxes on purchases from international customers. However, you are required to pay your country's sales tax on all items shipped to you when you receive your shipment. Please keep that in mind when you place your orders.

Shipping and Handling

We pay all shipping and handling charges. No extra charges will be added to your total except appropriate taxes. We use courier services at our discretion to allow for fast and reliable delivery. Shipping within North America usually takes 1-2 business days. Shipping to other countries may take up to 5 business days. These terms are in addition to the time it takes to process your order and verify your payment and address information.

Prior to shipping your order out we need to confirm your shipping address. To speed up this process, please use a shipping address on file with your financial institution or choose shipping to your billing address.

All orders are insured at no extra cost to you. That means your purchase is safe while in transit. We will provide you with tracking information as it becomes available. You will also be able to track the status of your order in your online Rendezvous account in the order history section.

International Orders

We ship to many international destinations. If you do not see your country in the list during checkout, please contact us for assistance.

We do not collect taxes on purchases from international customers. However, you are required to pay your country's sales tax on all items shipped to you when you receive your shipment. Please keep that in mind when you place your orders.

Please note that if you use a credit card in a currency other than US dollars, you will be charged an exchange rate higher than normal by your credit card company. We have no power over the exchange rate you receive. Paying with a wire transfer will usually allow you to utilize a lower exchange rate as well as give you an extra 2% off your total directly from Verkoso.

Return Policies

30 Day Returns

You can return items that you purchase from us within 30 days of you receiving your order. This gives you plenty of time to examine your purchase and even get an independent appraisal to make sure you get the right diamond. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact our customer service to arrange for a return. Our contact information is located at http://verkoso.com/contact/.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of items with personalized laser inscriptions or items that show signs of wear or have been damaged.

Refund, Credit or Exchange

To get a full refund or credit for future purchases, simply state so when contacting our customer service regarding your return. Note that once you receive a store credit at Verkoso, you may not redeem it for cash, but only for a purchase of a diamond. If you would like to exchange an item, simply return it and place a new order.

For items returned from international customers, to ensure you receive a refund for import taxes paid, retain your receipt for tax payments. It will contain information on how to reclaim taxes for returned goods.

Return Process

Once we receive returned items, we will inspect them and issue your refund promptly. We cannot accept items with personalized laser inscriptions, or items that are altered or damaged in any way. Returns that do not contain a Verkoso return code, are improperly packaged or uninsured will also not be accepted.

Diamond Certificates

All our diamonds come with diamond grading reports, also called diamond certificates. You need to return the certificate with every diamond you return. If you do not return the certificate with a diamond, the cost of a replacement will be subtracted from your refund.
